Decorative versatility, technical characteristics that remain unchanged over time, and minimal maintenance are some of the main features sought after for the main reception area. The flooring reflects the spirit and identity of the entire structure and, by combining colours and designs, helps to reinforce the design concept. As these are high-traffic areas, flooring solutions must guarantee high resistance, ease of cleaning and maintenance. Venetian terrazzo-style flooring is particularly suitable for shopping malls.

In a tailor-made project, i.e. a flagship store designed and created to communicate a brand’s identity through the adoption of a specific style and unique design, we work closely with the retail project manager and technical management to create flooring that meets all the project requirements: from technical performance to the choice of colours, the final effect (glossy, matt, textured, spatula-finished, cloudy), patterns or sport lines, the inclusion of floor inserts, or brand logos.

For access stairs in large public spaces where aesthetics are important, micro-cement coatings with a spatula effect can be used to create a textured finish. These coatings are ideal for decorative flooring, steps and wall coverings, and allow for the creation of uniform horizontal and vertical surfaces. For service staircases, coloured, dustproof, epoxy-based coatings combine high resistance, safety and aesthetics. They provide a smooth, monochromatic, minimalist effect. We also offer prefabricated steps with a Prima Polishing Concrete Floor finish for shop staircases, including anti-slip grooves.

Canteens, restaurants, cafés, and bars are subject to HACCP regulations, which are required in all places where food is handled and served. Continuous resin flooring with no or very few joints is impervious to grease, oil, and water, more resistant to impact and abrasion, and, of course, easy to clean and decontaminate. Furthermore, as these are high-traffic areas, the floors must guarantee maximum resistance to wear and scratches caused by the movement of chairs and tables. Also suitable for public toilets.

Conference areas are spaces often found in commercial facilities that host conferences, exhibitions, events, and trade fairs. These environments must meet high standards, providing amenities such as toilets, rooms of various sizes, bars, and cloakrooms. The layout can be either sophisticated or functional and minimalist. The flooring must be resistant and functional, and should reduce noise. Self-levelling polyurethane resin-based systems can be equipped with a flexible, rubber granule mat to improve comfort and sound absorption.
